  Delft, South Holland, Netherlands A solver for multiphase flow was developed to get the flow pattern maps, entrainment and droplet size distribution as the outputs to design certain components of a gas-liquid separator. Using MATLAB, the process for getting these outputs was automated for upstream oil and gas pipelines.

  Singapore My thesis topic was Computational Aeromechanics of slender bodies fitted with ram-air ducts as control devices. It consisted of exploring the passive effects of ram-air ducts on the trajectory of a slender body using commercial flow solver Star-CCM+. A new model was developed to circumvent the need for large domain sizes and moving meshes which are usually needed to simulate supersonic turbulent flows.
