Managing engineering resources, mentoring young engineers, system ownership of process systems, award-winning project leadership. (BDS, RDS, HTS, PSF, ATLIC, TOCDF) • Lead ATLIC engineer - design, construction, systemization, operations and closure; directly supported United States’ international treaty obligation, destroying its stockpile three months earlier than mandated April 29, 2012 deadline • Contract Representative (CAR) - ATLIC construction (budget >$11M); assigned resources, verified design and submittals compliance, responsible for maintaining schedule to ensure successful completion; awarded URS Pyramid Award for Excellence • Lead PSF engineer and CAR - design, construction, systemization; provided shower and break facilities for 50-100 Operations and Maintenance personnel • Lead HTS engineer - develop, install, test, and optimize to removed solidified material from HD containers; instrumental in improving schedule and allowed continuous production when other systems didn’t operate as anticipated. HTS awarded URS President’s Award; modified designs adopted for similar processing difficulties at other sites • Lead engineer - BDS changeover from VX to HD; installed, tested, and systemized ahead of schedule, resulting in on-time campaign startup and 0 oversight findings. HD campaign directly contributed to six-month early compliance of United States’ international treaty obligation to destroy 45% of chemical weapons stockpile by end 2007 • Developed 3d model and associated data entry/predictive spreadsheet (VB backend) of bulk containers to quantify heel sizes for campaign scheduling; replaced a failed purchased model: new model <0.5% failure rate (2200+) vs. 15% failure rate (first 40, original model) • Resolve system process issues in full compliance with safety, procedural (Disciplined Operations), schedule, environmental (RCRA), and Army requirements.
