Tasked with leading the Homelessness and Affordable Housing and Sustainable Melbourne Impact Areas with strategic business planning, focusing support to assist the Foundation through identifying innovative solutions to overcome entrenched homelessness and find new ways to develop and provide affordable housing.Managing the grants application process, I was responsible for providing end to end management of the application process, from pre application support through to the provision of feedback for all applications. Analysing the benefits and risks of proposed projects, I assessed financial statements, managed compliance processes regarding grants payments and monitored projects against agreed outcomes and the Foundation’s Impact Evaluation Framework. Providing a high level of support to the Senior Manager – Grants & Community Initiatives and the CEO, I completed complex research tasks and prepared reports for inclusion in the annual report and various grant evaluation reports. I was also tasked with managing the grants management software system, liaising with software developers and IT professionals when required.
