I worked with many different clients with different health problems that were referred through their G.P surgery. This work also involved teaching fitness classes that were accessed by members of contours fitness which is the membership scheme within the borough. I maintained a safe exercising environment for clients by inducting new clients into the gym and ensuring safe and effective practice of gym users. This involved setting up suitable payments for a variety of memberships, promoting and marketing the service. In addition to regular gym duties and teaching classes, I developed a studio and social program to encourage older members of the community to use the leisure facilities more often. I devised specialist classes, specific to the age group, and also created a social events calendar. Show less
