I have had the privilege of working with Kerry for the past several years. Kerry has always had an extremely positive attitude and never turns down an assignment. Kerry’s work ethic is unmatched; I could always count on him to give 100% to each task. Kerry is a great team member; always willing to provide feedback and assist other members of the team. Kerry is extremely generous with his time, never hesitating to put in additional effort to get the job done.

I began working on the HUD's Grants Management Center while working with North American Management (NAM), so my accomplishments I listed with EDJ started during my tenure with NAM. In addition to my responsibilities as assistant project director in support of HUD's Grants Management Center, I also performed as a systems analyst and developed organizational and business processes that complied with initiatives detailed in the President’s Management Agenda and the Balanced Scorecard approach in strategic organizational development for our organization and for other governments organizations, focused on maximizing and aligning the performance of human capital, and included objective performance measures I developed to accurately reflect an organization’s progress toward their mission and vision in these organizations. During this time I also contributed in developing business proposals on organizational development and improvement using a standardized proposal management process. Show less

    • Program Manager - In support of Department of Transportation (DOT)
      • Aug 2000 - Dec 2002

While I was contracted by DOT to serve as the contract staff project manager for TranServe, I worked with all of the federal agencies within the Washington Metropolitan Area to promote programs supported by DOT and coordinated the transition to Smartcard technology to transfer transit benefits for all of the federal employees in the region. This resulted in an outstanding reduction in paper and processing costs as well as increased security and fraud protection. This increased monthly revenues over 5000% from $6,000 per month to well over $300,000 per month in a period of 15 months. In addition, I led in the development of a secure web-based tool to manage the logistics and accounting of sending government agents, supporting an Executive Order, to distribute millions of dollars in transit benefits to armed forces government employees across the United States and internationally. This tool drastically improved the management, logistical, cost-effectiveness, security and accountability for distributing funds. The process transformed the organization from floppy-drive uploads to update spreadsheets to a secure tool that provided real-time information securely and accessible anywhere in the world. I also developed the organization’s policies and procedures, effectively trained and managed a staff of between 25-50 staff. I was responsible for providing oversight for all financial and daily operations including business accounting and payroll. I reported to agency directors on the status of contracts and programs, and served on the emergency management team to confirm the safety and coordinate the safe return of every transit benefit agent, assigned throughout the United States, during the attacks on September 11, 2001.
