  Assist the PR&C Manager to develop and implement Karingal internal and external stakeholder engagement strategies and activities across all divisions. Develop and implement specific public relations and advertising activities including campaigns. Prepare a variety of written communications including media statements/releases, speeches, feature articles for publications, as well as advertising copy. Develop and maintain organisational communications including newsletters, websites, Karingal Annual Report, promotional materials, brochures and style guides. Maintain and update the Karingal web information - including the external website and the intranet. Ensure the promotion of Karingal through social media.

• Executive Assistant to CEO / Events Manager

  Support the Chief Executive Officer of Karingal and his team in one of the biggest not for profit organisations in Victoria. Karingal comprises of a nine member Board, over 1600 staff and 200 volunteers supporting a range of services across Greater Geelong, South Western Victoria, Mornington Peninsula and Melbourne. Duties range from diary management, domestic and international travel arrangements, preparation and distribution of board papers, reports, co-ordinating meetings and appointments and general office administration.In addition to the above responsibility, I also provided support to the Karingal Board (nine members), and the CEO’s Senior Management Team (eight members).I was also responsible for event planning and coordination for all Karingal’s official functions.Special projects I was involved in during my role were; re-branding of Karingal and all it’s sub-brands; I created and ran the annual stakeholder, client and staff event called the Big Night Out (which still runs today hosting over 600 guests); re-writing of Karingal Membership Rules and the creation and introduction of a staff recognition program.
