I undertook a working holiday overseas for just over a year. Helpx.net connects workers with host families all over the world who provide board in exchange for part-time work. Excellent way to travel the world, experience life in other cultures and gain new skills. I have worked as a gardener, waitress, bar tender, dishy, housekeeper, and graphic designer. I designed two logos using Adobe Illustrator that have gone into production on the Shetland Islands for a café & bar, as well as brochures, in-room booklets, and business cards for the Baltasound Hotel on Shetland using Publisher. I produced an In-Room booklet for Arisaig House, Scotland, using Adobe InDesign & Blurb. I designed business cards, a bookmark and a welcome booklet for an Author in France using Illustrator. I also designed a logo for an organic grower in Wales using Illustrator.
