Kerrie was an Operations Supervisor when I took over the Best Buy in Holyoke, MA. Most peers found it unconventional when I promoted her to run the largest volume sales department in the store, a department that had consistently underperformed, both in every measurable sales metric, and in associate loyalty scores. Kerrie understands how to quickly identify root cause opportunities, and put together plans that are effective, and behavior driven. Her ability to manage people and processes was all she required to help a department that was extremely foreign to her reach goals in a time period that even I thought unlikely. Within 3 months of taking over the department, she was showing positive revenue and margin comp sales increases, and within 9 months her departments were top ranked in the company, even finishing January 2012 #1 in the company. Kerrie is an individual who refuses to fail, she is a high energy leader who inspires everybody she leads (and those that she works for) through high energy, clear direction and solid business acumen. I would recommend Kerrie for any store leadership position available, and I am confident she will deliver the same performance that she delivered to my location.
