Specific projects include: National Park Service: Developing a series of art exhibitions presented in an interactive website www.visitnationalparkarts.org. . Participated in the launch of the 2016 Centennial Imitative Arts Afire! by creating a publication to spotlight exceptional park projects that are providing creative engagement through the arts. Researched case studies and wrote publication text , coordinated project with National Park Service staff and graphic designer. Crayola Developed online survey tool to gather data on perceptions that art teachers have about their teaching and about their students’ learning. Served as grants reviewer for Crayola mini-grants. Lesley University Served as the co-principal investigator of a two-year long, Ford-Foundation funded research project on the role of arts integration in public schools leading to the creation of a manuscript under consideration for publication. As an Associate Professor, I developed, taught and evaluated courses in the arts and education. In addition I co-founded a new graduate program in community arts. As Associate Director, I managed all on campus programs within the Creative Arts in Learning division. I participated in marketing and recruitment activities for the university including developing new collateral, participating in open houses and meeting and interviewing potential new students. Executive Director of ArtWorks!, a 15,000 sq. ft. contemporary art center in downtown New Bedford, Massachusetts, which had a programmatic emphasis of community education and outreach through art exhibitions, an artists-in-residence program, a teen arts program, and economic development initiatives. As Director I worked with the architects and builders to rehabilitate a 19th century building into an art center. I served as primary administrator for all operations and raised funds and implemented award-winning arts programming. I curated exhibitions, wrote and published catalogs and other materials for the public, created and taught in numerous educational programs and developed an artists-in-residence program. Designed and implemented exhibition, artist-in-residence and adult and youth educational programming. I managed all aspects of the marketing and development initiatives including ad campaigns, printed collateral development, special events, prospect development and solicitations. Managed a $600,000 budget and authored numerous award-winning grant proposals including Wallace Readers Digest Funds $300,000 Leadership and Excellence in Arts Participation; $180,000 Lloyd G.
