  I was employed as an independent contractor at Valenture Institute, the first global online high school prior to leaving to the United Kingdom in February 2020. I worked on developing the Social Studies and Environmental Management curriculum in collaboration with the Dean of Social Sciences and created the content for this course as well as the History International GCSE course.



The Field Institute

  I was the executive assistant to Ann Lamont, former Co-Director of The Field, Founder of diiVe, former Executive Director of the African Leadership Initiative, McNulty Foundation Laureate (Aspen Institute), consultant and former Partner at Ernst and Young and various other projects focused on leadership training and access to education. During my time we put on the inaugural Africa Impact Forum hosted by the Africa Leadership Initiative in March 2018. This event was modeled off the… I was the executive assistant to Ann Lamont, former Co-Director of The Field, Founder of diiVe, former Executive Director of the African Leadership Initiative, McNulty Foundation Laureate (Aspen Institute), consultant and former Partner at Ernst and Young and various other projects focused on leadership training and access to education. During my time we put on the inaugural Africa Impact Forum hosted by the Africa Leadership Initiative in March 2018. This event was modeled off the Aspen Institute's annual seminar program. I led the communications and much of the logistical matters in the build up to the event with the support of Ms Lamont. Following the event, we focused on facilitating leadership workshops for various clients relating to the Field Institute and Ernst & Young. My role involved project management, research, communications, budgeting, presentations, reporting and content development. Similarly, I was involved in the beginning of setting up diiVe, which is an edu-tourism start-up based in Cape Town aimed at developing a socio-technological education for local and foreign students in July-August every year. I was involved in content development for the initial website. Other duties included daily diary management, travel arrangements, personal assistance, research, content development and business development.
