During my time we put on the inaugural Africa Impact Forum hosted by the Africa Leadership Initiative in March 2018. This event was modeled off the Aspen Institute's annual seminar program. I led the communications and much of the logistical matters in the build up to the event with the support of Ms Lamont. Following the event, we focused on facilitating leadership workshops for various clients relating to the Field Institute and Ernst & Young. My role involved project management, research, communications, budgeting, presentations, reporting and content development. Similarly, I was involved in the beginning of setting up diiVe, which is an edu-tourism start-up based in Cape Town aimed at developing a socio-technological education for local and foreign students in July-August every year. I was involved in content development for the initial website. Other duties included daily diary management, travel arrangements, personal assistance, research, content development and business development. This multi-faceted role developed many other soft skills which I bring to all and any projects I have taken on to date. Show more Show less
