Purchasing Analyst • Responsible for all procurement activities, including negotiating cost and purchasing terms to ensure the best value. During the peak of the company’s growth, I successfully negotiated approximately $360k (average 23%) in cost savings. • Manage all contracts for services, including colocation/hosting contracts, marketing contracts, IT support/spare parts contracts, license & purchasing agreements, contractor service agreements, etc. • Manage the company’s procurement budget approval process to include monthly approvals, tracking and reporting spend and managing cash flow. • Interact daily with Accounts Payable to ensure invoices are accurate and payments are processed in a timely manner. • Implemented a formal processes, which did not previously exist within the organization. This included processes for: o Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to include an analytical decision method, o Budget approval (monthly and off-cycle), o Cash flow management and communication, o Internal requisition and ordering process, and o Contract review and management. • Instrumental in the selection and implementation of both an Accounting/Procurement system (similar to ERP) and a contract management solution.
