I have known Kent both professionally and personally for over 10 years. He and I also share a personal appreciation for golf and fly fishing. Without a doubt, Kent is a seasoned veteran of several warehouse management environments as well a deep knowledge of the end to end process of logistics in general. I have worked with him on many projects and he has displayed a professional passion for accurate, sustainable processes and procedures in order to ensure on- time deliveries and a high level of quality and customer satisfaction whether it be involving external or internal customers. I know firsthand that he is a believer in training to and always following these procedures and processes (accountability) and persistently looking for ways to continuously improve. As well as managing warehouse operations, Kent is also good at reaching out to all of his resources (i.e., quality, industrial engineering, inventory control, corporate training, etc.) to address any concerns or opportunities that may surface. Kent’s teams had always done extremely well during internal and external ISO audits. To my knowledge and on my watch, Kent’s operations have never received a nonconformance. I also know Kent as a positive motivator who enjoys helping direct reports succeed and aid in developing their own career paths. He believes in the strengths of team work and goal setting. I have seen Kent called upon to manage numerous

I have had the pleasure of working closely with Kent for several years while at Avnet. I quickly came to realize how passionate Kent is about his work. He not only works to ensure that things are done efficiently, but that they're done the right way, and the fair way. His ability to affect, and impact change is like no other. I've watched him change company culture earning trust, loyalty, and respect of the employees along the way. If I had to summarize Kent in 5 words I would use honest, hard working, detail oriented, leader, customer service oriented.
