He not only performed his traditional DBA responsibilities with aplomb, but was constantly thinking through Improvements he could make. This position focused on database support for AT&T’s IT project management database. My manager describes me as a “self starter and team player,” “always looking at ways to improve things and add value.” Common tasks include refreshing the data in test environments, schema installation and upgrades, system monitoring and 24x7 on-call support, troubleshooting deployment scripts (including finding causes for compilation errors in PL/SQL functions and stored procedures).
