I also fitted for Honma, Titleist, Tour Edge , Mizuno and Wilson Staff. I worked closely with all brands to run Fitting Events at Great Western Golf Driving Range.I also trained fellow colleagues on the latest Golf Club technology and how to Custom Fit Golfers of all levels. My role was to offer transport to and from local authority nursery/schools for the minded children. Head Greenkeeper in charge of Muthill's 9 nine hole golf course in the heart of Perthshire. I worked mainly by myself with one seasonal worker to help me during the growing season. I maintained the course to a high standard for members and visitors to enjoy. I worked within budgets prepared maintenance and improvement plans. Building new tees, bunkers and planting new trees for the future. I continued my development by studying to gain my SVQ 3 in Golf Course Management with Elmwood College in Cupar. During my time at Muthill Golf Club I learned a lot from long term member / turf specialist John Souter who is famous in the Golf Industry (Souters Sports Turf and European Turfgrass Laboratories ) I played in the team which won the Perth & Kinross County Golf team competition the Bell trophy at the Queen’s course Gleneagles against Craigehill Golf Club. I enjoyed my time at one of the most challenging Golf courses in Scotland to work at due to access problems. My father worked at Gleneagles for over forty years as Head Valet looking after guests from all over the world.
