• Introduced the first-ever student seminar series in our department, comprising of spring and summer sessions.• Launched a comprehensive First Year Program initiative (with dedicated representatives, events and new student resource packet) aimed at easing the transition for incoming graduate students.• Initiated a peer-to-peer mentorship program to facilitate knowledge sharing and support to undergraduate students within the department.• Forged partnerships with prominent organizations such as ChESST UH, AIChE UH, Rice ChBE-GSA and the Energy Coalition.• Continued efforts to build a vibrant ChBE graduate community through the organization of various social events (such as career day, summer sports day, HFB volunteering, etc).• Coordinated and led the execution of the 38th Annual OChEGS Research Symposium, the organization's flagship event. A day of showcasing the groundbreaking research in our department to industry and external academia institutions.
