I work in Uhlmann Singapore LLP, which provides corporate clients on Pharmaceutical Packaging (PP) Machines. Wearing the hats of Project Management, Data Analyst and Technical Sales Support, I am enjoying it everyday in relishing the challenges of bringing in revenue for the organisation. Corporate customers spanning from USA, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, China, Bangladesh, Pakistan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Taiwan will look for me to purchase machine parts so as to support their production demands. As our corporate clients' requests are getting more complex, educating our partners, agencies and subsidiaries on PP Machines are ever more critical and essential. This is important as it will deliver a better customer centric experience and support to the machines that were bought. Additionally, a data centric culture will enable management, partners, agencies and subsidiaries to have a better insight to each customer buying behaviour and trends so that my team is able to plan and propose value based propositions. A servant leader that I am, I entrust the orders to the respective departments to perform the functions and clearing any roadblocks that they may faced, so as to fulfill the order promptly and delighting the customers. Quote from Dennis Wholey "Happy People plan actions, they don't plan results", However, one thing to add is the result which we get from Happy People will usually be more than the sum of all parts. Therefore, love people and use things as people will be the ones that connect all the dots eventually. Accomplishments:- 1. Achieving a compounded 10% annual aftersales revenue growth for last 2 years from $6 million to over $7 million 2. Created a financial model to facilitate prediction and forecasting of customer’s needs on our machines and products. 3. Created a template to filter out formal enquiries from budgetary enquiries that improves the response time from 10 working days to 2-3 working days Show less

I worked in Cyient Singapore which is an Indian based conglomerate that has businesses spanning from engineering, manufacturing, data analytics, and networks and operations. Thus, the BU was re-branded from Global Services Engineering - Asia to Cyient Singapore Services Limited.I was deployed to a Pratt and Whitney (P&W) Business Site to assist and support in doing process improvement in the Fan Blade Manufacturing. This involves running quantitative analysis on the manufacturing process data on Minitab. These steps are to establish and bring about:-1. Lower scrap rate for Fan Blades after evaluation. In turn, it will save the company thousands of dollars and time on it2. Increased repeatability and predictability thus improved quality fan blades manufacturing. 3. To identify sources of rejects, and taking corrective actions to address rejects within the Engineering and Quality department, thus bringing about increased efficiency and productivity. It also encourage knowledge sharing from the root causes to minimise future occurrences.Design of Experiments were practised to study the process capabilities for Productivity and Quality Improvement. Continuous improvement projects were initiated to look into cost, quality, utilisation & productivity using Six-Sigma or similar applicable methodology such as Cpk, FMEA, TPM, Lean, etc.Due to the sales of the BU and business needs, my function was transformed from a Senior Project Engineer to Senior Repair Design Engineer that assists P&W site in process improvements. I was hired with Global Services Engineering - Asia (GSE), a business unit of Pratt and Whitney (P&W) During my time with GSE, I was attached to Turbine Overhaul Service (TOS) to look into updating and correcting the various Repair Manuals that were accumulated over the years. This attachment lasted for 1 year and brought about aligning and correcting the repair processes to TOS. Prior to it, I've been working with the Airfoils Department in the management of Repair Authors to ensure effective and efficient delivery of Repair Manual to P&W partners and subsidiaries, thus serving as the focal point of contact between TOS and my department of Repair Design Engineers who are the authors for the Repair Manuals. Earned Value Management system was practised so as to track the performance for each repair manual drafting and delivery to TOS. This in turn will serve as a feedback to the management to be monitor on their control tower. Success metrics and the overall performance were shared during the townhall meeting so as to keep all of us updated on the KPI to achieve. Coordination is done on assigned repair projects to ensure the integration of numerous multi-disciplinary repair processes spanning across the product family in support of long-term repair sales strategy. In summary, a multitude of project management skills coupled with value engineering were being practised for this job function before it was bought over by Cyient. Show less
