Kenny started a home “buy and sell” business during the economic downturn of commercial construction in the Phoenix Metro area. He effectively bought, remodeled, rented and sold low income housing. However, closed the business in 2015. He effectively sourced “fixer upper” homes in the $15k to $50K range for rehabilitation making a 35-45% profit. Besides this, Kenny successfully tracked the remodeling costs utilizing Excel spreadsheets to manage budgets and meet deadlines. He efficiently worked closely with realtors to identify houses in reposition and determined remodel worthiness to carefully select houses with minimal structural issues to minimize fix up costs.

Concrete Superintendent

1996 - 2011
Kenny supervised the Light Commercial Concrete Division overseeing 3 to 5 foremen, the finishing crews and 30 to 100 employees. He effectively worked on the projects ranging from small remodels to an $11M, 8 story Cast in Place hotel with 8 penthouses on top. He successfully built the foremen and crew relationships by setting expectations and deadlines, established goals and trained employees on good safety practices to ensure that jobs were completed without incident, within budget and on time. Apart from this, Kenny performed the task of creating a spreadsheet utilizing Excel to track job costs with the ability to tell management at any point in time how the project was progressing and the associated costs on a daily basis, thereby, adhering to deadlines and staying within budget. He successfully tracked the inventory and orders by working closely with office personnel to maximize timely delivery and reduce costs.
