Advised, trained and supervised during the commissioning and starting up of a world class Linear Alpha Olefin Petrochemical Facility. New one of a kind technology used for the making of C4 to C20+ Liquid Hydrocarbon LAO product which was successfully and safely commercialised in 2009. Developed training procedures for Saudi national and expat operators. Custodian for Job qualification program (JQP) for Saudi national operators. Trained, tested and qualified operators in the field and on the Yokagawa 3000 DCS simulator. Senior panel operator Linear Alpha Olefin's process facility

Commissioned and started up Linear Alpha Olefin plant (LAO). Developed CSU and SOP procedures. Made adjustments to flows, temperatures, levels and pressures in the LAO process of making Butene, hexene, octene, decene and C12+ olefins. Responsible for operation of ethylene and propylene compressor's, horizontal alkyl reactors, distillation towers and numerous associated pumps and auxillary equipment. Operated Honeywell TDC3000 distribution control system (DCS). Handled HP ethylene, TEA, solvents and numerous associated chemicals within the LAO process. Familiar with HAZOP,WHMIS and TDG of all associated chemicals within the LAO process. Safely and efficiently prepared equipment for maintenance following SOP's and using LOTO. Issuing permits for maintenance to be done on equipment in LAO plant. Safely returning equipment to operations after maintenance is complete while following SOP's. Worked within a self managed team environment (SMT). Member of the emergency response team and 1081 exterior and interior trained through Texas A&M college station course. Issued maintenance notifications into SAP system. Show less
