  Served as a researcher and member on the OUT! Against Big Tobacco coalition in Los Angeles. As a researcher, I gathered data on tobacco awareness and perceptions among LGBTQ people and allies at multiple PRIDE events in Los Angeles. As a member of the OUT! Against Big Tobacco Coalition, I was a part of the fight for policy changes targeted to reduce the tobacco-related health disparities within the Los Angeles community. Policies being advocated for include: Restrict the availability of ALL flavors in ALL tobacco products. No Exceptions. No longer allow the use of discounts and price reduction promotions for the purchase of ANY tobacco product.
