I worked with Ken for a number of years, developing new home accent products. Ken is great to work with. Friendly and inclusive, he makes it very easy to build strong working relationships. He has a great ability to bring people on the journey, sharing information to help aid the development of others. Ken has a great eye for design and can confidently lead the creative design process, from initiating design concepts through to final, market ready products. Anyone who meets Ken will quickly see that he has a great sense of humour, coupled with a strong desire to always deliver, however big the project or tight the deadline. It was a joy to work with Ken, and he would be a great asset to any organisation.

Move over James Brown, Ken Rooney is the hardest working man in show business... or at least in Visual Merchandising. He's always looking to find the best possible solutions for the hundreds (yes, literally "hundreds") of display/merchandising/fixture problems thrown at him every year. And they're often done with very little advance notice and very little budget. Ego never plays a part in his approach; it's always about what's best for the business... he's great at keeping his eyes on the prize. But as a colleague, the part I like most of all is Ken's sense of humor. In the trenches, when our backs are against the wall with crazy deadlines, not only does he assure we meet them, but that we're laughing while we do. Given his talent and personal makeup, I'd have no hesitation recommending Ken for any senior position in his field.
