Programmed algorithms in Python to extract data from SEC Edgar and scrape millions of public filings using BeautifulSoup and Scrapy. Then we gathered and organized high volumes of data collected to be visually displayed with Seaborn and Matplotlib. This semester I taught underprivileged elementary students (4th graders) engineering design concepts through hands-on, project-based activities. I am working for the Integrated Teaching and Learning Laboratory/Program at CU Boulder who partners with the “I Have a Dream” Foundation in Boulder County. This position incorporates adaptability and creativity skills. I have been enjoying my time creating fun, intuitive projects with this enthusiastic group of kids.
