The Customer Services Project Applications Engineer (PAE) is responsible for:• Customer Services internal activities associated with supporting the sale of Customer Services Package Refurbishment and Upgrade Products (PRU), which includes refurbished packages, controls retrofits, and package systems upgrades (i.e. Engine Uprates and Upgrades, Compressor Restage, Fuel, Seal, Start, Fire system upgrades). • The position directly supports Customer Services Account Managers (Customer Services Sales) and a wide cross section of other departments to plan, develop, and execute technical and commercial strategies necessary to successfully compete for aftermarket business. • Specific responsibilities include installed package assessment, selection and optimization of equipment configuration with emphasis on control systems, turbine package systems, proposal preparation, pricing, and ensuring commercial and technical risks are effectively managed. • This position is also responsible for providing a complete hand-over process to Customer Services Project Management for sold projects. The Fleet Manager's core responsibility is to manage the MMS customer success. In this function the Fleet Manager works closely with the local Solar Customer Services teams and San Diego based teams to enhance delivery of service quality and customer relationships by supporting the below listed key accountabilities:• Drive and deliver service quality to ensure customer satisfaction and that Solar expectations are met in accordance with MMS principles.• Utilize the MMS processes and technology available, being focused on clearly demonstrating and documenting the value of services provided.• Utilize the InSight Platform to query technical issues on equipment and support elevating critical issues towards the relevant subject matter expert(s).• HSSE program compliance responsibilities. Participate in the review and or investigation of submitted incident reports. Be involved in all HSSE communications between the Solar and the customer. Support and drive HSSE initiatives within Solar's and customer's organizations. • Drive Effective Communications. Manage the clear and effective communications with key customer and Solar personnel.• Contract performance management reviews: Participate and drive actions during MMS contract performance management reviews with customer's operational and financial personnel.• Provide commercial support to MMS contracts. Forecast and plan for renewals in advance to provide any bridging documentation required to renew MMS contracts in a timely manner. Track and manage customer purchase orders and Solar invoices per the assigned MMS contract terms.• Facilitate new MMS Solar /Customer kick off meetings. Leverage Solar resources to ensure deliverables are met per the MMS mobilization schedule, including the implementation of InSight Connect Enablement.• The Fleet Manager reports to the Asia Pacific South MMS operations manager, whilst also keeping close communication with the local district management team for the designated area.
