I have worked with Ken for 20 years in a variety of areas at Toyota including Product Development, Quality Assurance, Program Management and Planning. Ken works well with people and has consistently demonstrated the ability to effectively work from C-level to colleague and customer in order to meet the project goals. I have found Ken to be very flexible and adaptable to any situation as he possesses both high emotional intelligence and conflict management skills. In the area of Business Operations Ken has demonstrated the ability to visualize and communicate both the high level or big picture goals along with the specific program details which consistently improved the effectiveness and efficiency of the project teams. Ken’s Engineering degree and hands-on experience provide him with high level technical proficiency and he possesses the ability to understand complex technical details and provide effective summary explanations in more layman style terms. I recommend Ken for any position for which he feels qualified to apply.

During my time at Toyota, I had the opportunity to work with Ken on numerous programs. Ken’s efforts to implement new audio technologies to the Scion brand gave our Sales and Marketing teams the material needed to effectively position the product in the market. Ken worked through development and supply chain issues to ensure that prototype parts needed for press introductions were delivered on time. He also handled the on-site installation and validation to insure optimal media and consumer experiences. While I was working abroad, I could always count on Ken to provide concise, effective and nuanced communication to ensure that our global teams were not only on the same page but understood the reasons why specific build details must be achieved. Ken is a team player and recognizes that details and execution can make or break marketing campaigns. When Ken was on a development team, there was a sense of confidence that came to the team as well. Ken is as effective in communicating product benefits as he is in collaborating with internal and external engineering, operations management, supply chain, marketing and sales groups. I would recommend Ken as a strong leader to bring products from concept to market.
