As a student researcher at Yale University, I conducted archival research at the Beinecke Library and Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. I then designed a research project based on data collected at the Beinecke Library and Schomburg Center for Research Black Culture and gaps identified in the historical literature on the Cold War, radicalism, and African American labor history. After completing my research, I crafted a paper on the National Negro Labor Council utilizing archival sources and secondary materials. Subsequently, I delivered a 10-minute presentation at the Leadership Alliance National Symposium on my research findings.
