I worked on a Medical Surgical Overflow Unit. We received patients from any area of the hospital while taking care of patients that range from the most critically ill of patients to those just needing monitoring. We have treated heart patients post surgery down to Antepartum mothers that just need to be monitored for Braxton Hicks contractions. It's a very diverse floor which keeps it challenging & interesting. You never know what the day brings. I worked on a Medical Surgical Overflow Unit.
