Urban prairies Project Intern
-
Jun 2020 - Aug 2020
I assisted with the Urban Prairies Project that is part of the butterfly pavilion, which included going to different sites and sampling the different plants and bugs that were at these sites. I also created my own project that compared the bloom time of different plant species and their relation to what bugs may use them at these certain times, and how this may change as the climate does. I also was taught how to identify monarch eggs on Milkweed, and how to sample them.
