Philip Hart

Kendall Macdowell, exceptional communicator, enthusiastic facilitator and an extraordinary professional. What can I say, Kendall is the best. I was fortunate enough to have Kendall as an employee some 5 years ago. She brought a new dimension to our organisation and is largely responsible for the fantastic culture we have today. Kendall moved onto transforming other corporate cultures. Now her talents are available to others, I can highly recommend Kendalls services for any organisation that is serious about building a world class organisational and winning culture. Beacon, a national non-profit organization working in more than 130 secondary schools across all Australian states and territories, believes every young Australian can develop an independent will to achieve personal success for themselves and their communities. Beacon has an established track record of helping inspire and motivate students to stay in school and increase their educational engagement and attainment, or choose a positive pathway that enables successful transition to employment, further education or training. An important part of this process is the delivery of the Beacon Foundation’s High Impact Programs. This suite of dynamic and interactive one day programs focuses on preparing young people for the world of work by developing crucial 21st century skills such as collaboration, communication, initiative, networking, leadership, teamwork, resilience and social skills. Polish is a work readiness program aimed at developing 21st century skills in young people to assist in preparing them for the workforce. Polish focuses on skill sets such as first impression management, communication, confidence, personal presentation, adaptability and positive self-esteem. Lunch with the Girls (LWTG) is designed specifically to inspire young women to reach their full potential. Engaging with a group of successful female role models from a variety of backgrounds, the key themes are self awareness, motivation, personal responsibility, positive psychology, goal setting and emotional intelligence.

I specialise in facilitation, coaching and exploring the business of being human through an insightful and intimate public interview series called 'The Seed'. 'The Seed' is about stoking the fire of individual and collective learning potential and is a metaphor for what can be harvested and shared through the experience of one's life. To enable this, I facilitate frank, thoughtful conversations with leaders and industry experts that draw out the skills and experiences of their unique journey in career, and in life. Through the conversation, the audience gains a remarkably cogent insight into what sets that person apart and how the sum total of their experiences has contributed to make them the person they are today. The interviewee is given permission to step back and reflect on their practice in a way that they previously might not have, thereby taking them to a different viewing platform from which to analyse their choices, opportunities, failures and successes. 'The Seed' is ideal for: - Adding another dimension to an organisation's learning or change program - Showcasing a keynote speaker's story, in a unique way, at industry or business conference events - Capturing and communicating wisdom from experienced leaders at professional networking events -Creating authentic web videos to market you or your business

In 2012 LifeWorks facilitated the 'Storming Towards Respect' peer mentoring program with the Melbourne Storm and Reservoir High School. Storming Towards Respect is a social mentoring program developed and facilitated by LifeWorks in collaboration with Swinburne University and Melbourne Storm. The program was designed to address school retention, family violence and develop the values of respect and responsibility in Pacific Island and Indigenous youth communities. Chosen NRL players were paired with LifeWorks' specialist facilitators and together they co-facilitated a range of activities with small groups of students. The students were selected by the school in an effort to keep them engaged in either the school program or the school-work transition programs. With a focus on opening communication channels to identify key issues that may place the students at risk, subjects such as violence, health, substance abuse, family relationships, cultural expectations and support networks were explored.
