Kendall has interviewed me several times re impaired driving and how it impacts our community. He is a very skilled interviewer and I can attest to his skill as a story teller.

Kendall is an excellent video-journalist. He shows personal interest in his subjects, asks meaningful questions, and so draws his subjects into conversation that engages the audience.

On most days I line up interviews, which I shoot and edit into a 2 minute story for the 5 o'clock flagship newscast of CHEK News. Despite the multiple skills one needs to be a Video-Journalist I primarily consider myself to be a storyteller. I would file multiple 30-60 second voiced news reports (sometimes live) each day to our daily newscasts. Often gathering these reports involved attending municipal council meetings, school board, breaking news events and other public gatherings (ie. protests). As a desker I prepared and read newscasts (3-5 minutes) usually at the top of the hour throughout the day.
