I am responsible for building and executing labor budgets and meeting annual production goals. Our production barn of 15 people are well trained and accountable for producing new trees, shrubs and perennials while meeting KPIs / benchmarks. I have oversight of the Huron shipping department from order processing, quality control, truck loading and soft side shuttle movement. I also oversee our field production which involves planting, spraying, fertilizing, cover crops, B&B digging and loading for shipment. Additional responsibilities include container maintenance procedures of trimming, fertilizing, spacing, consolidation of plants and hoop house construction projects. All nursery procedures follow WNI safety protocols which mitigate the reduction of workplace accidents. I am the Team Leader for the Huron Culture Team and the Safety Committee Lead for the company. I take pride in the team we have built and continue to develop. I am extremely familiar with the H2A program and successfully manage and train our full time and seasonal staff members.
