  Position Held: DESIGN DRAUGHTSMAN (June 1996 – December 1998) My main duties included the production of general arrangement drawings, designing and detailing of fabricated/manufactured components and producing support steelwork details to suit customer specifications to BS 308. Detailing of all types of power distribution systems using Auto CAD R14. Other duties included purchasing contract materials and equipment, producing tender drawings and assisting engineers in carrying out site surveys and refurbishment appraisals. Position Held: PLANNING ENGINEER (October 1993 - June 1996) The duties I have performed in the Planning Department included working out cutting lists to achieve the least amount of scrap, time study work on operations for a bonus system. Inputting time cards on computer using Impact Syspro, Version N3.1. Documentation work in Quality Assurance was required for final inspection and liaison with Marketing and Estimating for enquiries on potential orders. Position Held: WORK CONTROLLER/INSPECTOR (November 1992 - October 1993) My duties included running the newly formed Busway Workshop, from planning the jobs, to issuing the work to the operatives to final inspection and testing. Liasing with the Stores for goods inward inspection. Position Held: FABRICATOR/WELDER (CHARGEHAND) (June 1990 - November 1992) Duties included working from company and customer drawings to BS 308 in the manufacture of pressure vessels, structural, general steelwork and welding in various grades of aluminium, copper and mild steel using MIG and TIG welding equipment. From template making, to prefabrication, final assembly and installation on site, to comply with the Ministry of Defence, the Central Electricity Generating Board and Lloyds Insurance most of the work involved was subject to 100% X-ray and dye-penetrant tests.
