For the past 5 years i ran the NSW branch of WRS. This includes all admin, warehousing , sales and logistics. Since taking this postion I have moulded the staff into a team and doubled the sales from 5.2mil to 10.8mil. I have also planned and executed the move of the Sydney branch from Seven Hills to our present location of Huntingwood. This move went extremely well and came in $50k under budget. Having known the owners of Metropolitan for over 15 years every thing was going well when I was then contacted by Wayne Richardson and offered the postion of NSW state manager of WRS. Started at PPP as NSW sales manager. Duties included running internal/external sales staff and purchasing dept. Moulding the existing sales staff into a team, I managed to take sales from $5.5mil to over $12mil and also improving the GP as well. Later I then got involved in the production planning, warehouse/logistics and the importing of goods from overseas. CVC limited then purchased 80% of PPP and listed it on the ASX the company was then called Pro-pac group.(PPG). This was a great opportunity to work with the board in finding other companys to acquire. We acquired 3 other packaging companys, and merged them into the PPG family.
