      Obtain all relevant permits, licenses, and approvals for seamless operation of the construction activities of the FWLRT project not limited to building permits, roadcut permits, MECP permits, pipeline crossing agreements etc. Work with the construction manager and design team to organise and facilitate integrated design iterations, review design submissions and assist in making recommendations for approval. Key point of contact with internal and external stakeholders to develop and monitor permit and approval processes. Adept at navigating large multi-disciplinary structures, coordinating, reviewing and addressing comments related to design, construction, and contract documents. Conduct site visits of any ongoing work to monitor activities and ensure compliance to the overall design intent and project agreement. Review of shop drawings, redlines, as-builts, RFI’s, invoicing, claims, for compliance with the project’s requirements before providing approvals. Work closely with the survey team to provide as-built topo surveys to resolve design-related conflicts and encroachments with city owned and private property infrastructures. Track and follow up on permit applications, respond to queries, update drawings, pay associated fees, collate closeout documentation, and arrange necessary inspections to facilitate smooth close out of the permit. Coordinating with the design team on design review packages for PLA’s and document submissions to different stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Facilitating & coordinating internal and external PLA working group meetings with CoT [TS, TB, TW, ECS], MOT, CA, Construction Managers, utility owners, pipeline owners etc. Proactively communicate project status and challenges that may negatively impact client relations. Project management principles, Ontario building code, Accessibility standards, and generating technical reports using MS Project, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, Aconex, and MS Office. Show less
