"I can't wait to collaborate with her!". That is what I told my boss after Kelsey interviewed for her first job at Emily Griffith. Kelsey brings a combination of enthusiasm, data-driven analysis, research, and lived experience to every project she takes on. When Kelsey takes on a complex problem, she centers the solutions on the student or client. She starts with their needs and incorporates relevant data or research to ensure she is on the right path. Kelsey's ability to take in new information, feedback, and measure outcomes allows her to iterate on her original designs. This approach has made her a rockstar when it comes to program development and process creation. If Kelsey's working on it, you know it will be a high-quality product. Kelsey is mission-driven. She follows that guiding light and makes good decisions as a result.

Kelsey Glass was transformational in my career as an educator. During our time working together in Youth Career Development we collaborated on a variety of projects. Kelsey taught me strategies for engaging the disengaged, she cultivated learning experiences for our large team focused on the Science of Learning and tapping into intrinsic motivation to learn. With her passionate leadership, we created a highly engaging workforce development curriculum, and managed the project. She then led a team of educators to implement the curriculum across multiple districts. From this work with Kelsey, I was inspired and equipped to start an alternative educational institution serving BIPOC young adults with diverse learning needs. Kelsey served on our founding Program and Curriculum Development team at this organization, and continues to act as a consultant as our education model is studied by organizations across the country. Kelsey ability to mine for understanding of complex problems, galvanize, inspire and organize talented solution-seekers, manage projects and consult on the ground are invaluable.

As Dean of Apprenticeship, I play a critical role in the success of Emily Griffith Technical College's apprenticeship programming that serves 17 training and employer partners and over 4,500 apprentices across the state of Colorado. Currently, my priority is growing and expanding our offerings to include healthcare, hospitality, and information technology apprenticeships. In order to achieve success, I have built and grown a strong team dedicated to the Emily Griffith mission. We work both internally and externally across multiple divisions to ensure that every element of programming from discovery to design to implementation and evaluation meet client needs.
