  Since commencing my employment as a paralegal I have developed a range of skills, these include: taking client instructions, general file management, communication with the CPS and courts, assisting fee earners & Counsel, producing bundles, arranging & clerking conferences, submitting Legal Aid applications, clerking cases at Crown Courts, completing Precedent H forms, regular communication with clients via telephone and email, instructing experts & Counsel, drafting consent orders, witness statements, proof of evidence and character references. In March 2016 I was given the opportunity to travel to Northern Cyprus with Counsel for five days. This trip was used to obtain witness statements from our client who sought to remain in Northern Cyprus to avoid extradition. During this visit I attended several conferences and drafted a range of witness statements which were integral to our clients case. This experience greatly improved my drafting ability, the way in which I communicate with both clients & Counsel and most importantly my confidence.
