    • Program Coordinator
      • Jan 2018 - Mar 2020

As Program Coordinator, I run the annual programming and develop new programming for the community and teachers. This position developed from my role as Administrative Coordinator and maintains some of the same tasks. Under this new role I have been able to create a virtual exhibit for the HRC, a traveling exhibit, as well as set up traveling exhibits from Yad Vashem for the Buffalo Community.

    • Administrative Coordinator
      • Dec 2015 - Mar 2020

As Administrative Coordinator my primary duties include coordinating the Speakers Bureau of our survivors who speak at local school; as well as the processing of donations made by check and online to the Holocaust Resource Center (HRC). In collaboration with the Executive Director, I assist in organizing/scheduling events and meetings for Teachers Conferences, UN Holocaust Remembrance Day, Yom HaShoah; along with Strategic Planning meetings, Board Meetings, and the HRC's Arts & Writing Contest. I have begun a new collaboration between the HRC and the Buffalo State College Museum Studies Program to create a new HRC exhibit showcasing local WNY survivors and liberators to be displayed coinciding with Kristallnacht 2017. The other current projects I am working on include updating the HRC website to put more survivor testimony on the Local Survivors page organized by Holocaust Event as well as updating storage of the HRC Archives. • Holiday Sales Manager

I also assisted the seasonal employees in educating them on the sales for and ensuring they knew what they doing during the holidays. This position also placed me as a back up for the store managers, giving them someone to rely on to get day to day procedures done in the store.

  • Great Camp Sagamore
    • Raquette Lake, NY
    • Historic Interpreter
      • May 2014 - Oct 2014

While at Great Camp Sagamore, I gave interpretive tours of Great Camp Sagamore located in Raquette Lake, NY. The Camp was built by William West Durant in 1897 and was owned by the Vanderbilt Family from 1901 to 1954. These tours involved explaining the history of the Adirondack Park, the Environmental History of the area and the history of Sagamore itself using the buildings and the small exhibits in the Camp. During my time at Great Camp Sagamore I created four new exhibit cases in the tour area based on four themes: The Durant Family, Vanderbilt Era, The Workers, and Adirondack History. These cases were built using the Sagamore archives and their narrative was incorporated into the tours. Show less

      • Jan 2013 - May 2013

At the Alexandria Archaeology Museum, I researched artifacts and wrote descriptions on them based on the location in the site they were found. I used this information to update the text labels in the Fort Ward Exhibit. Along with the new exhibit I created a corresponding Education binder which included a time line of U.S. History, the History of the city of Alexandria, and the History of Fort Ward; as well as oral history from children who grew up in the community located at the Fort and further information of the archaeology digs done at the site. I assisted in a archaeology dig at the site of a former pig slaughter house where a future school was to be built. Show less
