  Oakland University I tutored university students one on one in the areas of History, Political Science, Geography, and German. As a peer tutor I was able to help students not only with their studies in their college classes, but interact with students at various levels of their degree. Through the tutoring program I became certified through the College Reading & Learning Association in the International Tutor Training Program.

  Oakland University I worked as a Student Office Assistant in the Academic Skills Center on Oakland University's campus. I scheduled appointments, took phone calls and messages, directed students and others to their desired areas, helped answer questions. I did not continue with this job because it became a Work Study position on campus and I was on qualified for the Work Study program.
