I was responsible for over 200 sites, I ensure payments that have been processed are correct, and look into any discrepancies. Within the RIS department I was responsible for looking into inconsistencies, and ensuring these are communicated over to different areas of the business to ensure they are processed. I am also responsible for tracking costs, reconciling deliveries, processing expenses and claims etc. Show less

London, United Kingdom I spent my summer working within the Project Management Office of Pershing. The Internship programme had over 3,300 applicants apply, I was selected from this with around 39 other interns. During my placement I was given a project to develop a way of improving the project reporting and metrics. During my placement I was given a project to develop a way of improving the project reporting and metrics. I had to establish what project data and metrics were required and had to develop a way of consolidating the data required in a central place so that the change management stakeholders had access to it. I held meetings with the senior members of the firm including CIO, COO, Directors, PMC members, Heads of departments, VPs and AVPS to develop a full analysis of the requirements. On finishing my internship I had to present this information to the change management stakeholders involved and explain the recommendations I would make for the company to implement. Show less

Harlow Essex During my short placement at Adecco I worked as a temporary worker for BancTec, processing credit card applications for Bank of Ireland. I had to adhere to strict timelines, and work at a very fast pace to constantly keep up with the large workload. This helped me to improve my time management skills and my attention to detail as every aspect on the application had to be checked and correct.

      • Nov 2008 - Jan 2009

Harlow Essex I was employed as a sales assistant worker for the Christmas period. I spent a large amount of time interacting with the public, working on the tills, offering assistance to customers and occasionally helping to cash up. This helped me to improve my communication skills.

Harlow Essex I worked here briefly behind the bar at nights, while working days at other jobs. My role included general bar work, and interaction with customers. I ran the VIP bar area, and cashed up with the manager. This increased my time management skills as I had to balance my studies with employment.
