I have had the pleasure of working with Kelly for the last five years. Her ability to self motivate has allowed her to move from an entry level position at dbaDIRECT Inc. to one of our most requested database administrators within a very short period of time. She is someone who always accepts new challenges and opportunities with vigor and excitement. With her "can do" attitude, great organizational skills, and technical abilities, she continues to deliver solutions, which makes her a GREAT asset for any organization that is looking for excellence in a database administrator.

Kelly provided database services for our organization and always delivered outstanding results. She is very detail oriented and goes the extra mile for clients.

Short term contract to configure data auditing, using Idera's SQL compliance manager, to satisfy PCI DSS compliance regulations. I created custom reports to provide a daily review of audited data and put together documentation detailing the setup and current configuration of the audit process. This position required the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. My main responsibilities included, but were not limited to, handling Reporting Services requests for our internal support staff. This could range anywhere from simply adding/removing a field from a report, modifying code to resolve an issue or improve performance, completely rewriting an existing report, or creating/writing a report and its code from the beginning. I dealt mainly with Visual Studio 2010 and SQL Server 2012, Database Engine and Reporting Services, however I also worked with SQL 2005 and 2008.

As a Database Administrator, I worked mainly with SQL Server. I performed various duties for our customers that ranged from installing new SQL Server instances to performing backups and restores. I have performed many SQL migrations and upgrades for a wide range of versions and editions. I investigated performance issues and made recommendations on how to better optimize an environment with respect to work volume. I am familiar with SQL Server 2000, 2005, and 2008, along with database tools such as DBArtisan, LiteSpeed and RedGate, and BI tools including SQL 2005 Reporting Services. Moreover, as a Database Administrator for multiple companies, I performed continuous improvement checks by searching for recurring issues that need to be addressed. This position required the ability to successfully multi-task, while keeping track of the time you spent working on each client's account for billing purposes. Great attention to detail and excellent customer service and organizational skills were necessary.

I started out as a cashier and was promoted to a Front End Supervisor two weeks into my job. This included running the entire front end of the store. I was promoted directly after graduating college to Lead Sales Associate. I was in charge of setting up for new merchandise and replenishing our current stock. I was available to all customers for any product questions including phone calls. I was promoted again the following year to Manager of the Framing Department. I became a Certified Framer as well as a Certified Framing Manager and was in charge of putting together framing orders and taking orders at the counter. I made the schedule each week for the 5-6 framers that I was in charge of. I managed the entire store when I worked nights and weekends which included counting tills and printing reports. In July 2005 I got a job in a computer field as a DBA but stayed on PT as a Certified Framer\Sales Associate until August 2008 when I went back to school for my Masters.
