Lolita Nazarov

Kelly is incredibly intelligent, creative, resourceful, fun, and hard working. During the pandemic, she kickstarted a tutoring business to help disadvantaged children excel in various subjects, ranging from math to English. Sitting in on some of the sessions, she makes lessons personable while making concepts easy to remember, and she is very quick to attune to the needs of the student. A natural leader, she brings people together with her witty sense of humor and bright personality. I’ve taken two classes with her in college alongside a few sessions of GRE preparation outside of college, and she happens to be one of the most observant and sharp people I’ve ever met. Also someone with a passion for all things creative, she manages to take on a bunch of creative side projects. She is a great conversationalist, public speaker and storyteller while also being very analytical and regimented, so she possesses a perfect blend of soft and hard skills. With her outside-the-box thinking, go-getter attitude and positive attitude, she is going to be outstanding in any future project, job or endeavor.

I work with Kelly as a tutor at a nonprofit K-12 tutoring group she started during the COVID-19 pandemic. With any extra hours in her work week, Kelly founded this organization to help students from financially struggling households navigate their changing schooling environment as well as provide supplemental education. She is both a leader and tutor to many young children and high school students, creating lesson plans to fit every child's learning needs. Kelly is sharp and observant, quickly picking up on the best way to serve a lesson while simultaneously directing a room of tutors and students during larger sessions. Students and parents always look forward to lessons together with our group due to Kelly's positive attitude and desire to help those in need.
