      In previous years from 2008-2011 I worked as an Intensive in home mental health counselor and then was promoted to a clinician working with children who have an Axis I diagnosis. After resigning from the agency in 2012 to pursue a school counselor certification, I returned to the agency in February 2014 due to lack of school counselor opportunities. For a year I worked as a mental health clinician in the after-school therapeutic program conducting groups for children. In March 2015 I began working for the outpatient child guidance clinic as a mental health clinician seeing children individually as well as doing family therapy as needed. In September 2016, I began staying home with my children. In October 2017 I decided to return to the workforce part time as substitute teacher and continue pursuing my goal of becoming a school counselor. Show less
