I became familiar with our equipment and how it was designed to function. In time, I became a floor/line lead. I was responsible for the output and production quality of a specific group. Early in 1995, I was promoted to Production Supervisor. I was responsible for over 60 employees as well as our two stage powder coating system. Quality and throughput were paramount. Duties consisted of maintaining work flow and scheduling daily production of four assembly lines and nine weld booths. In late 1999, MQ Boise moved into a new building. This move was due to our world wide market growth as well as the introduction of new product lines We were able to establish a great group of people to help move MQ Boise to a new level of production. By now, I was helping manage over 140 employees. This also included a new state of the art five stage metal powder coating system. At the time it was built, it was the largest system in the northwest. We were responsible for all aspects of production. As a group, we met and exceeded production goals that at one time, were thought to be impossible. We made these goals a reality by working together as a team and overcoming whatever got in our way. We were and still are a very proud group.
