As the Development and Communications Manager, I ensured the KidSport Alberta program in two key areas:1. Chapter Development- Communicated with chapters on a regular basis to assist chapters with growth and development in their community- Helped launch a new chapter that has the potential to assist over 100 kids into sport yearly- Managed volunteers including onboarding, education, support, and feedback. - Ensured chapters complied with KidSport Alberta policies, procedures, and guidelines2. Marketing and Communications- Created a marketing plan to announce and promote the new KidSport Oil Country Hockey Assist Program. Managed a budget of $100,000 to market the program across Central and Northern Alberta. This included provincial marketing plans as well as local strategies for chapters that utilized social media, TV, radio, and print.- Created a social media marketing plan to promote a new grant program funded by the Provincial Government to encourage Albertan's to get back to sport. The Return to Play program will assist 7,400 kids into sport in 2022 and provide local sport organizations with $1.25M in grants to assist with covid relief for their programming.- Managed KidSport brand standards across the province and implemented the KidSport Canada Marketing Plan- Managed content for the KidSport Alberta website and all Alberta chapter websites- Created the KidSport Annual Report for distribution to key partners- Worked with the Social Media Coordinator to manage social media programs and campaigns Show less
