Reservations Agent

May 2015 - May 2017
Agent: Responsibilities included helping people book not only their stay at the resort, but the many activities on the property as well. That includes skiing, horseback riding, UTV's, etc all in a small call center atmosphere. I would help guests find the right accommodations to fit their needs, suggesting different packages or amenities that the facility offers and asking questions to help determine what the client needs actually were. Also required was to take credit card information over the phone to begin the billing process. Sometimes I had to call out to a client to remind them of their upcoming reservation or to tell them if something about their reservation has changed, as well as "soft sell" to "hot leads" in our computer system. Responsibilities included checking in and out guests, making reservations, generally keeping guests happy. Also, would be the only employee on staff during the evenings, and would handle anything that was thrown my way!

Responsibilities include checking in and out guests, making reservations, generally keeping guests happy. I also would do the "Accounts Receivable" at the beginning of each month for the local companies who would frequently stay at the hotel. It was also my job to make birthday cards for every employee of the hotel, as well as our guests who stay with us often. While employed I was a part of the "Care Committee", which organized the fun tasks the hotel would put on for the employees and guests. We would meet once a month. I am trained on all 3 shifts.
