  Following my 3 month placement for my degree, I am working as a conservation and and science research intern to carry on various ongoing projects at the zoo.

  I carried out a 3 month research placement as a part of my masters in animal behaviour and welfare. Throughout this experience, I worked on various projects including Asian elephant and common hippopotamus observations for zoo research, in addition to office based work for conservation and research projects. This time has allowed me to gain hands-on experience with animal research and how zoos contribute to conservation efforts.
