      Working with NHP, specifically rhesus macaques, in both clinical and laboratory settings at a research facility focusing on animal welfare and furthering medical research. Daily roles alternate between clinical procedures and animal care to sample processing in the molecular biology lab. Clinical procedure experience: daily rounds; IM injections; TB testing; TPR; sterile cystocentesis; sterile blood draws; IV catheter placement; administering fluid therapy; intubation/extubation; and surgical monitoring; MRI; CT; endoscopy; bone marrow collection; bronchoalveloar lavage; blood transfusions; pulse wave velocities; DEXA bone density scans; cardiac ultrasound; abdominal ultrasound; and necropsy.
