  In my current position I actively assist patrons with their library needs at the circulation desk. I help locate library materials and assist in providing instruction of print and non-print resources and provide support for use of library resources and equipment. I have excellent communication skills in person and over the phone. My employer has provided many courses to improve our customer service skills and I have applied these skills to my current position. I assist patrons by analyzing inquires, answering questions, identifying informational resources, recommending materials and instructing the use of resources. I have knowledge of basic computer functions and software and the ability to demonstrate tact and professionalism in communication. I have access to patron’s personal information and demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and personal integrity. I’m a highly motivated individual with a sharp attention to detail. Show less
