  Research in the Forestry Department on the project entitled “Reducing food loss and waste and greening the FDSCs through bio-based packaging case studies, solutions and feasible investment project concepts”. It seeks to establish evidence base for, and develop investment concepts in, most promising forms of innovative food packaging from locally sourced waste and biomass streams from agriculture and forestry. Bio-based residues can be used as a sustainable feedstock to eco-friendly food packaging, liquid packaging, bio-PET, and new types of natural fiber carton and bottles in the future. // Pesquisa no Departamento de Silvicultura no projeto intitulado "Redução na perda de alimentos e resíduos e tornar mais sustentáveis as FDSCs (Cadeia de abastecimento alimentar e de bebidas) através de estudos de caso sobre embalagem de base biológica, soluções e conceitos viáveis ​​para o projeto de investimento" . Procura estabelecer base de evidências e desenvolver conceitos de investimento com formas mais promissoras de embalagens de alimentos inovadores de resíduos e de biomassa de origem local, com fluxos provenientes da agricultura e da silvicultura.
