Jul 2018 - Present
Visual arts educator to pre-k through 4th grade. I provide a balanced and well rounded curriculum based on the TEKS. Students learn about art history, famous and local artists, and art from historical and modern cultures. Students develop a variety of techniques over the course of their Elementary education, preparing them to be creative problem solvers with the ability to make, evaluate and understand a variety of artistic perspectives. Other duties include directing the school art club, hosting school art shows, coordinating fundraisers, managing inventory and budget for the school’s art department, and presenting competition pieces for the HLSR Rodeo Art competition.
