I started working with Kelly in August, 2015 when she was hired on to fill the newly created position of Director of Outreach. Immediately, Kelly’s exuberance, seemingly boundless energy, and veritable wellspring of optimism started making a huge impact on the facility. This impact was not only felt by the providers she was in charge of keeping in constant communication with, it was also felt by all the other directors at the facility; her inexhaustible enthusiasm was a breath of fresh air in our daily meetings. The shortest summary I can give of Kelly’s successes is that the hospital’s earnings tripled during her tenure. While a multitude of people are involved in a sustained success this pronounced, in the hospital world, the Director of Outreach, who’s in charge of physician recruitment and awareness for the hospital’s specialty programs, is foremost among them. During her time at Crossroads, Kelly’s recruiting brought in at least nine specialist physicians and seven primary care providers. Additionally, she was an absolute cornerstone in building the hospital’s bariatric program, which was both the first robotic bariatric surgery program in the area and was one of the first bariatric programs in our entire hospital system. Additionally, she also started the first MDSave program in the entire company. It was an incredibly complex program to implement, but under Kelly’s tutelage, it was a smashing success in the short span of a year or two. As evidenced by both her work with the bariatric program and MD Save, Kelly is absolutely unafraid to tread into uncharted waters, and is universally successful when she does so. I could go into much more detail, but for the sake of brevity, I ask that you please feel free to contact me for any further insight.
