Bio
Errol Packard
Kelly was truly a model JET Program participant. During her three years in the mountain town of Tochio, she not only put her heart into teaching English, but dedicated herself to integrating into the community and becoming a role model for her students. I have not seen many ALTs on the program who become as knowledgeable of the intricacies of Japanese language & etiquette in such a short amount of time. Kelly also worked hard to bolster the JET support system on both a regional level as the Nagaoka Area Regional Advisor, and on the national level as a member of the AJET Peer Support Group. I highly recommend Kelly as an effective educator, a quick learner, and a highly organized and responsible team player.
